I spent many years in my late 20s and 30s helping friends and family negotiate the purchase of their new vehicles. The more deals I helped to secure, the more I realized I wanted to turn this hobby of mine into something that helps everyone. I did not want to continue seeing people overpay for vehicles, especially when I had the tools to help save them time and money.
Our business model was constructed over the next few months, combining personalized customer service with a customized software tool that simplifies the entire process. The last thing I needed was a name. My daughter came up with a play on the two words “car” and “negotiator.”
In 2011 I launched cargotiator.com. Since then, I have helped hundreds of customers buy, lease, sell, and trade-in vehicles. Our customers will always come first, and we will continue to satisfy their needs and provide them with a service that they will not find anywhere else.
